Stars are free. They cannot be bought, transferred or withdrawn as money. Making a prediction costs nothing and requires no deposit.
Settlement is against a named source. After the deadline, the take is checked automatically. Clear evidence settles it; thin or contradictory evidence goes to a person. Nothing is decided on the basis of which side is cheaper for us.
