Terms of Service

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Standom INC ("we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto.

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site is our proprietary property and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site (collectively, the "Content") and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the "Marks") are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us.

By using the Site, you represent and warrant that: (1) you have the legal capacity and you agree to comply with these Terms of Service; (2) you are not a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside; (3) you will not access the Site through automated or non-human means; (4) you will not use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose; and (5) your use of the Site will not violate any applicable law or regulation.

Standom is free to use. You do not need to pay us anything, at any point, to create an account, make predictions, climb the leaderboard, or receive a prize. There is no deposit, no entry fee, and no way to buy Stars.

To take part in the weekly contest or redeem a gift card, you must have a verified Standom account in good standing, and you must be permitted to receive a prize of this kind under the laws that apply where you live. If local law restricts your participation, those laws take precedence over these Terms and you should not take part.

We may exclude our employees, contractors, and their immediate families from winning prizes so the contest stays visibly fair.

Stars are a virtual scorekeeping item inside Standom. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, cannot be transferred between accounts, cannot be sold, and are not a deposit, credit, security, or any form of money. They exist only to let you make predictions and to measure how well those predictions did.

There are two kinds:

• Bonus Stars — given out by us, through the signup bonus, the daily bonus, and promotions. They can be used to make predictions but do not count toward your weekly contest score.
• Won Stars — earned when your predictions turn out correct. These count toward your weekly contest score and are the only Stars that can be redeemed for gift cards.

We may adjust, correct, or remove Stars credited in error, through a fault in the platform, or through activity that breaches these Terms.

Each contest week runs from Monday 00:00 IST to the following Monday 00:00 IST. At the end of the week, the top three accounts by net profit in Won Stars receive gift-card prizes of ₹500, ₹200, and ₹100 for first, second, and third place respectively.

Final placings are calculated only from predictions that have actually resolved within that week. Predictions still open when the week closes do not count toward the final result, even though the standings shown during the week include an estimate of their current value. The live standings are informational and are not a promise of a prize.

You must finish the week with a net profit above zero to place. If fewer than three accounts finish with a net profit, we award only the places that were genuinely earned. Where two accounts are level on net profit, the one with more settled predictions that week ranks higher.

Prizes are issued as gift cards and are fulfilled by hand, usually within a few days of the week closing. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. We may verify a winner's account before issuing a prize, and we may withhold a prize where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

We may change the prize amounts, the contest schedule, or the scoring method for future weeks. Changes will not be applied retroactively to a week already in progress.

Separately from the weekly contest, you may exchange Won Stars for a gift card from the catalogue shown in your profile. Only Won Stars can be used — Bonus Stars are never eligible.

When you submit a request, the Stars are deducted immediately and the request enters a queue. We issue the code by hand and send it to you, usually within a few days. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will tell you why and return the full amount of Stars to your balance.

Gift cards are supplied by third parties and their own terms apply to how you use them. We are not responsible for a third-party brand refusing, expiring, or otherwise dishonouring a code once it has been correctly issued to you.

One person may hold one account. Creating additional accounts to earn more bonuses, to influence prices, or to occupy more than one prize position is a breach of these Terms.

You must not use bots, scripts, or automated tools to place predictions, and you must not coordinate with other accounts to move a market or manipulate the leaderboard. Where we find this behaviour, we may reverse the affected Stars, withhold or reclaim prizes, and suspend or close the accounts involved.

The Site may invite you to chat, contribute to, or participate in blogs, message boards, online forums, and other functionality, and may provide you with the opportunity to create, submit, post, display, transmit, perform, publish, distribute, or broadcast content and materials to us or on the Site. Any contributions you transmit may be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary.

You may not access or use the Site for any purpose other than that for which we make the Site available. The Site may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by us.

These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of India. Standom INC and yourself irrevocably consent that the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute which may arise in connection with these terms.
